Fast Buds take 1st place home at the very first edition of the American Autoflower Cup in California!
Fast Buds Wins the American Autoflower Cup 2023

We proudly announce that in 2023 we had the pleasure to participate in the AAC, the first American competition dedicated to autoflowers only. The American Autoflower Cup gave us the opportunity to compete against the best growers, autoflower breeders, and autoflowering strains in the US who set up the highest quality standards. Being able not only to compete side by side with the best of the best but take home several awards is an honor to us, so we’d like to present our most recently awarded strains to all our clients, fans, and supporters:

It goes without saying, we're glad to participate in the AAC 2023 and see how far the autoflower community has come. As we’ve mentioned before, these awards reaffirm that all the time and hard work put into breeding the best autoflowers on the market is recognized and appreciated by our supporters, clients, and fans around the world.

Interview with the AAC 2023 edition winners.

We’ve always had high hopes for all three of these strains as they’ve shown impressive results during our breeding tests and selection but making it official, in the form of awards, is a huge deal as it shows we’re in the right path and doing the right things.

1. The American Autoflower Cup

Held in the Green Street right in the heart of Los Angeles, California, the American Autoflower Cup (AAC) aimed to put the spotlight on the best autoflower breeders and automatic strains, giving the power to the people who voted on the best autoflowering strains in the US, taking the best of the best strains from the unknown to the top.

The first edition of the American Autoflower Cup.

The event opened its doors to the best brands and growers looking to meet other autoflower enthusiasts and get to know the latest and greatest autoflowers the world has to offer while enjoying good music and even better weed.

The awards ceremony was held on the 28th and our team had a blast with a live session from a local DJ who played the best hip-hop sets before local artist Kennedy Williams performed her best hits, making sure everyone had a good time before the world got to know the latest winners of the American Autoflower Cup 2023 edition.

Judges had to smoke and vote on the best based on aroma, flavor, appearance, and overall experience.

Judges from every sector of the cannabis market sampled all entries and voted on the best of the best based on the aroma, flavor, effect and overall experience and after, AAC’s hosts had the task of delivering the results. Naturally, Fast Buds won 3 awards which shows the hard work put into our strains and the appreciation coming from our supporters.

2. Fast Buds: A Multiple Award-Winning Seed Bank

Our latest autoflowering strains have been piling up awards in the last couple of months. Our best-selling strain of all times, the Gorilla Cookies Auto, won 1st place for ‘Best Indica’ and our Gorilla Zkittlez Auto won 1st Place at the latest edition of Dabadoo among other 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in competitions all over the world. This only meant that in 2023, things would not be different.

However, this didn’t mean it was easy, on the contrary. The American Autoflower Cup was the first-ever competition dedicated strictly to autoflowers only in California which not only meant that the AAC would attract a lot of attention and consequently growers, but also that the participants would set the highest standards.

All entries, without exception, had to pass strict testing which, unfortunately, did cause a few entries to be disqualified but that meant that indeed, only the best of the best competed and had the chance to win. Luckily, things went better than expected and three of our latest releases have been awarded at the American Autoflower Cup 2023.

Our team was extremely happy to hear that our Banana Purple Punch Auto had won 1st place in the ‘Best Indica’ category, and even more thrilled when they announced that the Strawberry Banana Auto and Gorilla Punch Auto which won 1st and 2nd place in the ‘Best Sativa’ category, respectively. Despite all the hard work and effort, we never expect to win such prestigious awards so these results caught us by surprise.

Nevertheless, we kind of had an idea of how good these strains were as some of them had already been awarded in other competitions and also because the public loved them from the very beginning as their sturdy genetics, hard-hitting effects, high THC content, and unique terpene profile make them unique and an excellent example of what modern autoflowers are capable of.

But we won’t stop there. We will always work hard and aim to bring in more and more awards so make sure to stay tuned, we invite you all to come and make history together! In the meantime, you can take a look at all of our champions: Banana Purple Punch Auto, Strawberry Gorilla Auto, and Gorilla Punch Auto and try these award-winning genetics for yourself!
